Chandler Institute of Governance is Now the Chandler Governance Group
January 16, 2026

SINGAPORE, 16 January 2026 – The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) is excited to change its name to the Chandler Governance Group (CGG). This marks a significant milestone in its journey to strengthen public sector capabilities and institutions, and build high performance government around the world.
Since CIG was founded in 2019, the organisation has made significant strides in building high performance government around the world. As it continues to grow in reach and scale, the organisation’s new brand marks the beginning of the next chapter – with deepened expertise, strengthened internal capabilities, and expanded capacity to deliver outcomes that matter to governments and citizens alike.
CGG’s leadership and staff remain unchanged, as do its mission and focus. This year, CGG also welcomes additional senior team members, further strengthening its ability to support governments worldwide.
"We will continue to work with governments worldwide to build high performance government, maintain our practitioner focus, and remain internationally minded yet locally relevant. Most importantly, we will continue to operate with the same ethos, culture, and core values."
Mr. Wu Wei Neng
Chief Executive Officer of the Chandler Governance Group, and Chairman of the Chandler Academy of Governance
